How to Set Up IPTV on TiviMate (Android TV and Firestick)
If you’re part of the Balkan diaspora and want an easy way to watch ex-YU channels on your TV, TiviMate is one of the best apps out there. Whether you’re living in the US, Canada, Germany, or anywhere else, this guide will walk you through setting up IPTV Arena in just a few minutes.
What You’ll Need
- An active IPTV Arena subscription
- Your personal M3U playlist link (you’ll get this after signing up)
- The TiviMate app installed on Android TV, Firestick, or an Android box
Step-by-Step Setup
- Install and open the TiviMate app
You can find it in the Play Store on Android TV or sideload it on Firestick using the Downloader app. TiviMate is perfect for watching Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian and other Balkan channels abroad. - Choose “Add Playlist”
When prompted, select M3U Playlist. - Select M3U Playlist as the type
TiviMate will ask which type of playlist you are using. Choose M3U Playlist. - Enter your M3U link
Paste the link you received from IPTV Arena. This gives you access to all your live channels, movies and shows. Double check the link to make sure it’s entered correctly. - Wait for the app to load everything
TiviMate will organize all channels into categories like live TV, sports, movies and more. You’ll see everything laid out clearly and ready to stream. - Name your playlist
Call it something simple like IPTV Arena so you can find it easily later. - Start watching
That’s it. Use the side menu to switch between live channels, sports, movies and Balkan entertainment.
Extra Tips
- TV guide setup
IPTV Arena will send you a custom XMLTV format EPG link along with your M3U. To activate the TV guide, go to the TiviMate menu, open Settings, select EPG, and paste the link there. This will load the full program guide so you can see what’s playing and what’s coming up next. - Favorites
Long press on any channel to add it to your favorites. It’s a fast way to jump back to what you actually watch.
A Few Things to Know
- TiviMate doesn’t come with any content on its own. It’s just a player. You still need a subscription like IPTV Arena to unlock the channels.
- The free version of TiviMate works great for most people. If you want features like recording, multiple playlists and custom groups, you can upgrade to the premium version using the TiviMate Companion app.
- The Companion app is only available on Android phones, not TVs.
If you’re trying to stream Balkan TV from abroad, IPTV Arena gives you over 450 ex-YU channels in high quality. It works anywhere in the world and is supported on all major devices.
